Registration for GriefShare Wednesday A.M. Support Group Fall 2020
GriefShare is a special weekly seminar and support group designed to provide help and encouragement after the death of a spouse, child, family member or friend. Participants may opt to attend on campus or via Zoom. Our group is led by trained, caring lay members who have experienced grief themselves and want to help you through the difficult days ahead. Meetings begin on Wednesday, September 2 and will conclude on Wednesday, December 9. Meet in the Barnes Learning Center (second floor of Founder's Hall) Room 210 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. or attend from the comfort of your home via Zoom. This cycle includes a special class entitled "Surviving the Holiday's." Sessions include video teachings, small group discussion (support group) and a personal workbook for personal study exercises that reinforce each weekly session's topics. There is a one-time registration fee of $15.00.
You are welcome to begin attending our GriefShare group at any point. Each session is "self-contained", so you do not have to attend in sequence. You may also pick up any sessions you missed in our next 13-week cycle.
You may also pick up any sessions you missed in our next 13-week cycle. GriefShare provides grief recovery support groups meeting throughout the U.S., Canada and in over 10 other countries. The program is nondenominational and features biblical concepts for healing from your grief.
GriefShare sessions are "self-contained" so you do not have to attend the sessions in sequence. You are welcome to begin attending our GriefShare group at any point. We do ask that you please register online beforehand. For those opting to attend virtually via Zoom, please contact the Care office for Zoom login credentials.
