The Care Ministry is looking for volunteers to help set up and serve light appetizer food items at funeral receptions. Other duties include preparing coffee, lemonade, iced tea and water, transporting items from the funeral using a cart to the reception area and setting items up at the reception (floral arrangements, photos, guest book, etc.). Attire: white button shirt/blouse and black pants/skirt required.
No experience required - just a caring heart and a desire to help those who are grieving a loss.
As needed. Most funeral/memorial services are scheduled on Saturday mornings or early afternoons, also weekdays in the morning or early afternoon.
