St. Luke’s has two different greeting card writing groups. One group writes cards four times a year to the veterans living at the Veterans Community Living Center. They meet on campus to share fellowship and write out the cards. The other group sends holiday greeting cards three times a year to church members age 80+, new church members in the past two years, deployed and stateside military and those who reside in nursing homes. This group does not meet in person, but you may write the cards on your own schedule from the comfort of your home. The church provides the cards, addresses, inspirational message and postage. All you have to do is write the message inside the cards, seal the envelopes and drop them in the mail in a timely manner. Email Antony Larry or call 407.876.4992 ext. 265 for more information on these writing groups.
Legible handwriting required.
The veterans writing group sends out cards for Memorial Day, Independence Day, Veterans Day and Christmas. The holiday writing group sends out cards for Easter, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
