Details:

St. Luke's Care Ministry is now accepting applications through October 16 for the 2023 Stephen Ministry Training Class. Because of this important and delicate ministry, it is critical that individuals who serve as Stephen Ministers go through discernment and training. Upon submitting your completed application, you will be scheduled for a meeting time of discernment during the timeframe of October 17 and November 30 with two Stephen Minister leaders. Not everyone is gifted and called to Stephen Ministry. Completing an application does not guarantee a spot in the training class. To learn more about Stephen Ministry visit https://www.stephenministries.org. Download and complete an application as well as sign up for a preview training class on October 6 at https://www.st.lukes.org/stephenministry.

Experience:

Please take the spiritual gifts assessment at https://u.st.lukes.org/default.aspx?page=3774 to learn about your special God given spiritual gifts. If it’s been more than five years since you last took the assessment, we ask that you take it again at this time.

Schedule:

Attend our hybrid preview training class on Thursday, October 6 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Building B Room 202 or from your home via Zoom. Deadline to submit applications is Sunday, October 16. Online weekly training begins on Tuesday, January 10 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
