Ambassadors receive training and notifications about upcoming community events where St. Luke's will have a booth off campus. Those who volunteer in this role will smile and greet event attendees who pass by the booth and positively promote St. Luke's. Ambassadors will engage those walking by in conversation to identify if they may be looking for an opportunity to connect with others. Those who volunteer at events may have the opportunity to share their love of St. Luke's ministries as well as educate the community on St. Luke's core values and available programs. Ambassadors can choose between a list of shifts (usually two hours each) to ensure the booth is staffed throughout the scheduled event. Set up and break down shifts are available. Events occur throughout the year on various days. Ambassadors volunteer as their schedules allow and are encouraged to serve at a minimum of two events per year.
