David Stephens Study: Anxious for Nothing

Short-Term Studies
Thursdays, 10:30-11:30 a.m., 8 sessions beginning September 24th
Group Leader: David Stephens
Meeting Day: Thursday
Anxious for Nothing is a collection of positive thoughts by Max Lucado gleaned from scripture. Lucado divides the material into four sections; they are: celebrating God‘s goodness, asking God for help, leaving your cares with God, and meditating on what is good. These points of instruction conveniently spell the word “CALM,” a poignant message for today. The class will span 8 weeks. Dr. Stephens is our part-time minister of visitation and has served St. Luke’s for 30 years in the areas of congregational care. He and his wife have four daughters and eight grandchildren, and have enjoyed teaching classes that facilitate friendship and community.
